Nicole and Brian live in the United States, in the state of Massachusetts, but decided to get married with an intimate ceremony with her relatives, because Nicole is  Portuguese descendant.

Brian had never visited Portugal and the option for the engagement in Lisbon was simple: a walk through city to get to know a little of our city, tradition and culture.

From the typical groceries, to the decorations of the “Santos Populares” (typical parties that occur all June in honor to some saints), to the alleys of the typical neighborhoods and to the genuine locals, we walk a bit through Alfama, Mouraria and Castelo: the old Lisbon. The end of our session was by the Tagus river with the most beautiful light in the world, the one from Lisbon.

The wedding was held a few days later in the central part of the country. Between Portuguese and Americans, stories and memories were exchanged in what was one of the most memorable days of our bride and groom’s life.
